View/Edit Candidates

Use this tool to search Brainhunter's growing database of job seekers. If you find a candidate that you're interested in, you can use this tool to contact the candidate to ask them to apply to your job. Or, you can route the candidate's file to another user in your company.

 

  1. Log in to your Employers Toolbox.

  2. Locate the Candidate Management menu and click Search Candidates. You will be taken to employer home > toolbox > search candidates.

To Perform a Simple Search

  1. In the Simple Search Criteria dialog box, select one or more job streams from the drop-down menu. To select more than on job stream, control-click additional items.

  2. Make other selections from the dialog box to further narrow your search.

  3. To see the results of your search, click Submit. You will be take to employer home > toolbox > candidate search > candidate search results.

To Perform an Advanced Search

  1. The selections you make using the Advanced Search tool are combined with the selections you make using the Simple Search tool. To perform a more exact search of Brainhunter's database, follow steps 1 to 2 above to select criteria for a Simple Search, but DO NOT click Submit.

  2. Scroll down to the Advanced Search Criteria dialog box. Make entries and selections as desired.

  3. Click Submit. You will be take to employer home > toolbox > candidate search > candidate search results.

 

To protect job seekers' privacy until they have applied for a job, their names and personal information are not shown in the candidate search results table.

To Contact a Candidate or Route Their File to Another User

At the top of the Candidate Search Results there are several buttons including Route and Contact.

You can Contact one or more of these candidates with reference to your current open job requisitions. You can also Route candidates' files to other users. When a candidate chooses to apply to the job, his or her personal contact information will be visible in your Open Requisitions table. (You can access this table from  View/Edit My Requisitions in the Requisitions Management section of your Employers Toolbox.)

To save the results of your search

  1. Enter a name in the text box that is located beside the Save Search button.

  2. Click the Save Search button. A red message will appear above the search results table: Search has been saved!
