BCEHS Station 126 Port Hardy would like to identify Full Time or On-Call PCP or higher qualified paramedics who are interested in the Flight Certification Course to support the airvac stations.
This EOI is only open to employees attached to stations 126 Port Hardy & 129 Port McNeill with priorty given to those attached to station 126 Port Hardy first . TMA will not be provided for this opportunity.
Employees applying for this orientation:
- Must be medically fit for duty (e.g. no medical restrictions preventing from working on an aircraft) and willing to fly as part of the role.
- Have an understanding of and acceptance that employees who complete this training may be assigned or moved to shifts at Station 126 respectively as part of the scheduling process.
You must successfully complete the BCEHS Flight Paramedic Certification Course delivered bb BCEHS Learning prior to being scheduled for a shift.
Please note that by responding to the EOI, you confirm that you are available to attend the paid orientation course. Shift coverage will be provided for any regular shifts scheduled during this training.
There is pre-read that is TBD. The face to face portion of the Flight Paramedic Certification Course location is scheduled for December 9-12, 2024 and location is TBD. (TMA not provided)
Those selected and who successfully complete the Flight Paramedic Certification Course maybe called upon for one (1) year following the completion of training. Candidates must remain attached to Port Hardy and Port McNeill to be eligible for these shifts.
