Job Summary

 

Salary Range: $62,239-$89,469/year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a people-focused Project Coordinator to support a broad and dynamic portfolio. Reporting to the Executive Director, Executive Director, Patient & Staff Experience & Measurement, the Project Coordinator supports a variety of projects across the portfolio. The portfolio includes Digital Innovation, Capital Projects, Patient Experience, Data Analytics, Contract Management Office and Quality and Patient Safety. You are highly organized, computer savvy, with strong administrative skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Accountabilities


• Monitors and coordinates the execution of projects, ensuring that they adhere to project protocols, that they conform to applicable institutional policies, and that they are completed within the required timelines.
• Actively supports the management and facilitation of time-limited projects and programs to identify best strategies and activities for team members and other stakeholders, including identifying appropriate staff and assisting them to access and utilize appropriate project management tools and resources.
• Coordinates and arranges project and program team meetings in consideration of urgency and nature of the subject matter. Prepares documents including agendas, presentation, spreadsheets, correspondence, meeting minutes and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provides admin support, calendar support and project and program governance support to Executive Director.
• Presents project updates to internal partner groups, external agencies, organizations, and other partners. Develops communication plans and assists with the dissemination of information and knowledge related to projects and key initiatives through a variety of mediums.
• Monitors period, quarterly, mid-year and year-end budget expenditures and reports variances. Gathers and summarizes financial information related to assigned projects for submission to the project lead and sponsor.
• Provides admin support to the BC Mental Health Foundation.

Qualifications


A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Health or Social Sciences plus a five (5) years in a related executive assistant, project coordinator, or analyst role in a health, social services, government, or community organization.
