Add Requisition Template

Use the Add Requisition Template tool to build a job requisition template for a particular job. The template you create with this tool will be available in Requisition Builder the next time you need to create a requisition for that type of job.

 

  1. Log in to your Employers Toolbox.

  2. Scroll down and locate the Requisitions Management menu on the left side of the window. Click Add Requisition Template. You will be taken to employer home > toolbox > add template.

  3. You are presented with a series of dialog boxes which you can use to set up the basic parameters of the template. In the Job Requisition Details section, select a Job Stream and type in a title for the template. Scroll down and make selections in the remaining dialog boxes that suit the purpose of the template. When you have completed all of the dialog boxes in Step 1, Add Template, click Save and Continue. You will be taken to Step 2 of Add Template.

 

Step 2 of Add Template allows you to screen and filter candidates based on their years of experience with jobs and skills.  JOB SEEKERS DO NOT SEE THE DATA YOU ENTER HERE. It is designed to screen out any candidate that does not meet these experience levels, so you should fill in experience levels for the MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE CANDIDATE that you would want in your A-List.

 

  1. Select Position Functions and Core Skills. Type in any Additional Keywords or Phrases that you want the search engine to look for. When you are satisfied with the professional profile you have selected, click Save and Continue. You will be taken to the Requisition Templates table.

  2. You can add another template, if desired, by clicking the Add New Template button at the top of the Requisition Templates table.

 

The template you just created has now been added to the Select Template list box in Requisition Builder. The next time you need to hire some one for this job, use can save time by using the template.
