Routed Candidates

When another user locates a candidate that may be of interest to you, they can route the candidate's file to you. To view the files of candidates that have been routed to you by other users:

 

  1. Log in to your Employers Toolbox.

  2. Locate the Inbox menu and click Routed Candidates. A table will appear that lists the candidates who have been routed to you by another user.  To see a screen shot, click here.

  1. To view the candidate's file, click the number link in the Candidate column . Two tables will open: Selected Candidates and Open Requisitions.

  2. To select a routed candidate file, click the checkbox in the Select column .

  1. In the Open Requisitions table, click the check box in the Select column in the row for the requisition that you want the candidate to respond to.

  2. Scroll down and find the Comments to Candidates text box. If desired, you can enter comments here. These comments will be included when we email the candidate to request that they apply for the position.

  3. Click the Contact Candidates button (located in the bottom right corner below the Comments to Candidates dialog box). We will contact the selected candidates by email to determine their interest in your position(s). The job title, job description and basic details are included in this email. After receiving this email, the candidate can log into their Job Seekers toolbox and apply to the position. When the candidate applies to your open position, you will receive an email alerting you that you have a new match. This email alert will also include the candidate's name and profile.
